Setting your profile preferences

About the profile settings

As a participant, you have multiple options to personalise your experience in assessmentQ. In your profile, you can adjust your personal settings, such as:

  • View mode (default, light or dark)

  • Language

  • Time zone

  • Locale

Procedure

  1. Sign in to your assessmentQ environment.
    ​Result: You see your portal homepage or your schedule detail page.

  2. Click on the arrow next to your name in the upper right corner.
    ​

  3. Select My preferences.
    ​Result: The Preferences popup-up opens.

  4. In the Interface options, you can change the View mode to your preferred setting.
    ​

  5. In the Time and language options, you can change your interface language, time zone and / or locale.
    ​

Notes:

  • The language you set in your profile is applied to your assessmentQ homepage (your portal or code page) and your schedule detail page.
    This language setting is not necessarily used in your assignments. For more information about the interface language in your assignments, see Player language.

  • The administrator of your assessmentQ environment determines which interface languages you can choose. For more information, please contact your assessmentQ administrator.

  • The time zone is detected automatically upon first sign in. If necessary, you can override the time zone.

  • The administrator of your assessmentQ environment has set a default locale. The locale determines the formatting of date and time. If desired, you can adjust the locale to your preference.
