Getting access to the content review module

Updated over 2 months ago

Roles: reviewer vs author

The content review module comes with a new role: the Reviewer. A reviewer is a subject matter expert to whom a review task can be assigned. By default, he only has access to the Content review submodule in the Authoring module. So he cannot create or edit items himself. He cannot create review tasks either, only be assigned to review tasks.

The author, on the other hand, can obviously create and edit items, but also create review tasks, so he can have his items reviewed.

The table below shows the difference between the roles Author and Reviewer.
