Accessing the grading task module

Background

To get access to the Grading tasks module, you must either have the Scheduler role or the Grader role.
Administrators also have access out of the box, as they can see everything in the backoffice.

Note: The Oral exam is a closed beta feature. If you are interested in organising oral exams, contact Televic Education via [email protected].

Access for schedulers and graders

The table below shows the difference between the roles Scheduler and Grader.

Note: It is of course possible to edit the permissions related to the default roles under User Management > Roles. This way, you can for instance create a Scheduler role who can access all grading tasks. For more information on editing roles, see About roles and permissions

Which grading tasks will I see?

Depending on your role and permissions, you will see the following in the Grading tasks module:

Visible grading tasks

Role

  • Tasks assigned to me

  • Grader

  • Tasks assigned to me

  • Tasks created by me

  • Scheduler

  • Any other role with access to the Grading tasks module and the permission "Manage grading tasks"

  • Tasks assigned to me

  • Tasks created by me

  • All

  • Administrator

  • Any other roles with access to the Grading tasks module, the permission "Manage grading tasks", and extended access to all grading tasks.
