Grading an upload file item

Background

In an upload file item, the participant can upload files (.pdf, . xls, .ppt, ...) into the item. Graders can download these uploaded files and grade the answer.

Note: The author needs to enable the grading option on the assignment level before the assignment can be seen in the Grading module. For more info, see Which assignments do I see in the grading module?

Procedure

To grade an upload file, proceed as follows:

  1. Select Reporting in the central menu of assessmentQ.

  2. Go to the Grading submodule.
    Result: the Grading module opens and you see the assignments that can be graded.

  3. Select your assignment that contains an upload file item and select this item.
    Result: The list of finished sessions appears.

  4. Click on the session you want to grade.
    Result: The participant's answer is displayed.

  5. Download the uploaded file(s)
    Result: The file is downloaded on your computer and you can open the local file.

  6. Assign a grade to the answer

  7. Click Assign grade to save the grade.
