Proctored exam in assessmentQ
During a proctored exam in assessmentQ, your microphone, webcam and screen are recorded to control the integrity of your exam.
In case of live proctored exams, a live proctor will monitor you for the duration of the exam session, and the same streams are being recorded.
Proctoring icon
In case your exam will be proctored, you will see a proctoring icon next to your exam(s) on your schedule detail page.
Note: When taking an exam via a direct link (LTI or other, e.g. via ProctorExam), it is the responsibility of the scheduler to inform you that the exam will be proctored.
Proctoring pre-check
When clicking Start to open your exam, you will see that the proctoring pre-check (device check) starts automatically:
This device check is mandatory. You will not be able to start your exam without finishing the proctoring pre-check.
After you have finished the pre-check successfully, your exam will be opened automatically. The exam time limit only starts counting down from the moment your exam is opened.
Proctoring support
There are three proctoring solutions integrated into assessmentQ:
Talview proctoring
If you are taking a proctored exam using the Talview solution, you can refer to the following support pages:ProctorExam proctoring
ProctorExam only works in Chrome, so make sure you are using Google Chrome as your browser. Next to that, ProctorExam requires you to install their plugin. Make sure you have this plugin installed and enabled, and make sure it is up to date.Mereos proctoring
