Grading fill gaps and math entry items by gap

Grade all answers to a gap at once in your grader task.

Background

Fill gaps in text, Fill gaps on background and Math entry items are graded by gap. Instead of grading every participant separately, you see all distinct answers per gap (problem) at once, together with the number of participants who gave that answer. The score you give to an answer applies to every participant who gave it.

The lead grader assigns exactly one grader to these items. You recognise them by the Grade by gap option in your grader task.

Procedure

  1. In your grader task, open the question.
Result: You see the question with its solution and all accepted answers.

    • Result: mark the answer as correct (✓) or incorrect (✗).
