Taking an assignment from the portal

Updated over 2 months ago

About the portal

A common way for schedulers to deliver assignments to you is by scheduling them on your assessmentQ portal.

As a participant, you need to sign in to the assessmentQ portal to see your schedules.

Note: You will only see the schedule listed in your portal if the scheduler chose to publish it there. If it does not show up, it could be that you have to use a different method to take an assignment. In that case, you can consult one of these articles: Taking an assignment with a sign-in code and Taking an assignment with a direct link.

Signing in to the portal

To sign in to the assessmentQ portal, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to [your domain name].assessmentq.com

  2. Enter your e-mail address and password and click Sign in.
Result: You see your assessmentQ portal homepage.

Notes:

  • If you forgot your password, see How can I reset my password?

  • If Single Sign-On (SSO) has been set up with your organisation's platform, you do not need to log in to the assessmentQ portal. Simply log in to your platform and click through to your assignments. For more information, please contact your assessmentQ administrator.

  • If your organisation uses the assessmentQ self-registration module, you can create your own account. For more information, see Self-registration with a group code.

Exploring the portal

After signing in to the assessmentQ portal, you arrive on your portal homepage where you see an overview of your schedules.

On your portal, you can:

  • use the search and filter bar to easily find a schedule.

  • click through on a schedule to see which assignments it contains.

  • consult your schedule results via the Results button at the top right.

Searching and filtering your portal

You can use the search and filter bar to more easily find a schedule on your portal.

  • Search field
You can search for a schedule by entering (part of) a schedule name.

  • Availability filter
You can filter on the schedule availability:

    • Open, i.e. schedules for which the end date has not been reached yet.

    • Open for review, i.e. schedules for which you can review your assignments.

    • Expired, i.e. schedules for which the end date has been reached.

    • Upcoming, i.e. schedules for which the start date has not been reached yet.

  • Tags filter
Schedulers can add additional information to a schedule by means of tags. This information is shown on the portal above the schedule name. As a participant, you can use these tags to filter the schedules on your portal.

Notes:

  • The search and filter bar is not shown by default on the assessmentQ portal. It is only shown on the portal when activated by the assessmentQ administrator. If you don't see these options, please contact your assessmentQ administrator.

  • By default, you will see all the schedules that have been published for you. The administrator, however, can decide not to show the expired and/or upcoming schedules on the assessmentQ portal. In this case, the filters for expired and/or upcoming schedules will not be shown in the filter bar.

  • In case no tags are added to schedules, the Tag filter bar will not be shown on the portal.
