Taking an assignment with a direct link

Updated over a month ago

About direct links

Schedulers may choose to deliver your assignment(s) via a direct link. This link may, for example, have been published on your organization's platform or forwarded via e-mail.

There exist two types of direct links:

  • direct link to an assignment
When clicking on the link, the assignment is immediately opened in the assessmentQ player.

  • direct link to a schedule
When clicking on the link, you will see a schedule page from which you can start your assignment(s).

You will only be able to use the direct link if you are signed in in assessmentQ. If not, you will first have to sign in. For more information, see the procedure below.

Note: If you did not receive a direct link, it could be that you have to use a different method to take your assignment. In that case, you can consult one of these articles: Taking an assignment from the portal and Taking an assignment with a sign-in code.

Starting an assignment with a direct link

Proceed as follows to start an assignment with a direct link:

  1. Click on the link to start.
    Result:

    • If you are not yet signed in to assessmentQ, you will see the sign-in page. Enter your e-mail address and password and click Sign in.

    • If you are signed in to assessmentQ, your assignment is immediately opened in the assessmentQ player (in case of a direct link to an assignment) or you will see the assignment(s) that are scheduled for you in the schedule detail page (in case of a direct link to a schedule). In this case, click the Start button to start your assignment.

  2. Navigate through the questions and enter your answers.

  3. Click Finish to end your assignment.

Notes:

  • If you forgot your password, see How can I reset my password?

  • If the direct link is published on your organisation's platform and Single Sign-On (SSO) has been set up with assessmentQ, you do not need to sign in to assessmentQ. Simply log in to your platform, click on the link and you will automatically be redirected to your assignment. For more information, please contact your assessmentQ administrator.

  • If your organisation uses the assessmentQ self-registration module, you can create your own account. For more information, see Self-registration with a group code.
