Adding example blocks in a scenario

Background

Example blocks are blocks consisting of example items. For more information about example items, see Using example items

Procedure to add an example block

Proceed as follow to add an example block to your scenario:

  1. Go to Authoring>Scenarios via the backoffice.
    Result: The list of scenarios you created or that have been shared with you appears.

  2. Open the scenario of your choice.
    Result: The scenario detail page and parts overview are shown.

  3. Open the part of your choice.
    Result: The items blocks overview is shown.

  4. Click the three dots next to the item block you would like to change into an example block.

  5. Click Change to example block.
    Result: A blue icon will appear on the left of the block name, meaning that block is now an example block.

Procedure to make an example block a regular item block again

Proceed as follows to convert an example block into a regular item block:

  1. Open the module Authoring>Scenarios.
    Result:
    The list of scenarios you created or that have been shared with you appears.

  2. Open the scenario of your choice.
    Result: The scenario detail page and parts overview are shown.

  3. Open the part of your choice.
    Result: The items blocks overview is shown.

  4. Click the three dots next to the example block you would like to change into a regular item block.

  5. Click Change to regular item block.
    Result: The blue icon on the left of the block name will disappear, meaning that block is now a regular item block.
