Configuring your proctoring integration

Introduction

assessmentQ offers an integration with:

  • Talview
    Talview is an online proctoring service that is used to ensure test security and detect cheating. More information.
    ​

  • Mereos
    Mereos is a French EdTech company that offers a highly secure and flexible platform for proctoring online exams. More information.

As an administrator, you will need to define the Talview or Mereos proctoring configuration for your assessmentQ environment. For more information on configuring Talview or Mereos proctoring, see below.

Configuring Talview proctoring

As an administrator, you need to select the Talview token for your assessmentQ environment.

Note: The Talview proctoring integration is an add-on. It is not by default enabled in your assessmentQ environment. If you are interested in using the proctoring integration, please contact Televic Education via [email protected].

Procedure

Proceed as follows to configure the Talview proctoring integration for your assessmentQ environment:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Select Talview.
    ​Result: The Talview proctoring page is opened. By default, no profile is selected.

  3. If you want to change the proctoring profile:

    • Click Edit configuration.
      ​Result: The Configure Talview proctoring pop-up is opened.

    • Select the profile of your choice.

    • Click Save.
      ​Result: The profile settings will be applied to all proctored assignments in your assessmentQ environment.

Configuring Mereos proctoring

As an administrator, you first need to create your Mereos proctoring profile in your Mereos school.

The Mereos proctoring profile determines the proctoring settings (such as the use of mobile camera, the support chat, etc.) that will be applied to the proctored assignments in assessmentQ.

Subsequently, you need to select this profile in the assessmentQ proctoring integration settings. For more information, see the procedure below.

Note: The Mereos proctoring integration is an add-on. It is not by default enabled in your assessmentQ environment. If you are interested in using the proctoring integration, please contact Televic Education via [email protected].

Procedure

Proceed as follows to configure the Mereos proctoring integration for your assessmentQ environment:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Select Mereos.
    ​Result: The Mereos proctoring page is opened. By default, the first profile of your Mereos school is selected.

  3. If you want to change the proctoring profile:

    • Click Edit configuration.
      ​Result: The Configure Mereos proctoring pop-up is opened.

    • Select the profile of your choice.

    • Click Save.
      ​Result: The profile settings will be applied to all proctored assignments in your assessmentQ environment.
