About monitoring remote exams
assessmentQ offers a seamless integration with the Talview Record and review proctoring solution for remote exams. When activated:
Webcam, audio (microphone), and screen recordings are made of the participants' activity during the exam.
Potential malpractice events are automatically flagged.
For each exam session, an AI-based integrity score of possible misconduct is automatically calculated. For more information, see Proview index below.
As a proctor, you can review the proctored recordings in the assessmentQ Remote exams module after the exam:
access all session recordings (webcam, audio, screen, and secondary camera if used).
verify if the flagged events truly indicate malpractice or rather are false positives.
add manual flags for events that were not automatically flagged (e.g. subtle whispering, eye movements, or unauthorized objects).
assign or validate the final integrity status.
For more information, see the Talview's Record and Review Proctoring documentation.
Proview index
The Proview index is a fully automated, AI-based calculated score for the integrity of an exam session. It categorizes the likelihood of cheating or malpractice as follows:
High: Indicates a low probability of cheating or malpractice.
Medium: Reflects a moderate probability of cheating or malpractice.
Low: Suggests a high probability of cheating or malpractice.
Prerequisites for monitoring remote exams
The Talview proctoring integration is an add-on. It is not enabled by default in your assessmentQ environment. If you are interested in using the proctoring integration, please contact Televic Education via [email protected].
The exact flags, thresholds, or rules can vary based on the Talview profile configuration for your assessmentQ environment. More information.
